Don't you just love U-Tube? Here is a good, honest description of what progressives want. They call it social justice.

Fascinating isn't it? It is also a TOTAL LIE. Why do I say that? Well, I drive a 1994 Dodge Caravan. It is the newest car I have ever owner and I bought it used with over 100,000 miles on it. Why? Because I don't have enough money to buy a newer car. Do you really think Mr. Van Jones would just trade me his car straight over? How about we both sell our cars and put the money together then split it in half. Do you think he would be happy with his half? I know I would be! Hey, would you take the deal?

I guess I had better be careful who I make that offer to. Most of the people taking my Motorcycle Course are just as broke as I am... but you get the idea of the point I'm trying to make. All these big, fancy progressives are, compared to me, filthy rich. Now don't get me wrong. I would love to be filthy rich! I just don't want to get filthy rich by STEALING your hard earned (Or otherwise) money.

"To each according to their need. From each according to their ability." A good communist attitude. Curiously, in a way, that attitude will actually work, but only under a very limited conditions. So under what conditions would this work?

Simple. A nuclear family. Not as in a bomb, but as in father, mother, and children. Think of it this way. I used to burn wood for heat during winter. It took a lot of wood. My lovely wife would come and help me cut and load wood in the forest. I could do 100% of loading the truck with wood but then I was exhausted. My wife would help and do about 20%. That left me doing 80%. At 80% I was just coasting. Her 20% really, really helped but she always felt that she wasn't doing much, but she really was! We both were equally warmed by the wood. Each of us put in according to our ability and took out according to our need. Worked fine.

However, that was with my family. As soon as you add ten, twenty, or more people, things start to break down. Take a look at any commune you care to look at. From the early New Testament Church era to the hippy communes of the 60s and 70s. Remember the Bhagwan? This communistic, progressive attitude has NEVER worked in any time in history. Why do they think it will work today?

I keep hearing some of the progressives say that that Jesus was the first great community organizer. I think they are right. HOWEVER, Jesus did not come to organize lazy bums to steal the wealth from others. He came to organize you. He came to save you and give you abundant life. Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-30

Everyone forgets that Jesus deals with you as an individual person, not as a group of oppressed people. He told a rich young man (Matthew 19:17-22) to sell all his possessions and give it to the poor because he knew the possessions where a trap to the young man. NOT because he wanted to redistribute the wealth. He never told Joseph of Arimathaea, who was a wealth man, to do this because Jesus knew that he would. To Joseph the wealth was not a trap.

To truly have social justice in this life you have to have Jesus first in your own life. Any other way will just not work.

OK, How do I say this without being offensive. I am really interested in what you say but I don't give a flying passage of gas in a hot place about what you think!

WOW, what does that mean? Simply this. I am interested in what you say about the things I say and you can tell the truth to me because you can't offend me. That is because I don't care about what you think of me! You can FLAME me, Rant and Rave, say you love me or say you hate me, it's all the same to me!

I am interested in how you come to whatever opinion you have, why you say what you say. Lately, I keep hearing and reading about people who say they HATE, absolutely HATE Palin, Beck, O'Reilly, Fox, ETC. They are just liar, liar pants on fire. However, they never seem to be able to give proof or at least some kind of reason for what they say. I gave you reasons why I feel as I do so if you disagree with me can you give me some reason why?

So there you go. Tell me what you think. I promise to read what you say but I will not write back because I don't care what you think. I only care about what you say!
