MP3Gain is a multi-lingual utility for all 32 bit Windows that analyzes and adjusts mp3 files so that they have the same volume. MP3Gain does not just do peak normalization, as many normalizers do. Instead, it does some statistical analysis to determine how loud the file actually sounds to the human ear. Also, the changes MP3Gain makes are completely lossless. There is no quality lost in the change because the program adjusts the mp3 file directly, without decoding and re-encoding. mp3DirectCut for Win9x/NT/Me/2000/XP is a small and efficient tool for editing MP3's directly. Without the need for decompressing your MP3 into a PCM format you can remove parts, change the volume, including "fade-in or fade-out", or copy several regions out of it. This saves work, encoding time and disk space, and there is no quality loss through any re-compression. Make multiple cuts and remove everything you want in frame resolution from MP3 files. Needs an mp3 ACM Codec (L3codecx.acm, L3codeca.acm or L3codecp.acm) installed on your system or a DLL you can download from the authors website along with an HTML manual.
